Summary of the Balkan Green Energy Project

The Project Balkan Green Energy News newsletter envisages creation of 12 monthly electronic newsletters in English language and their free worldwide distribution with the aim to contribute to renewable energy and energy efficiency promotion and achieving national targets by the countries comprising Balkan region and overall EU 20-20-20 targets.

The newsletter provides an insight into renewable energy, energy efficiency and overall sustainable energy development trends, changing regulatory environments and investment opportunities of the Balkan region countries: Serbia, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. The newsletter provides a review of the most important and relevant news, facts and figures and policy amendments.

This represents the second phase of Balkan Green Energy News newsletter - the existing concept of the newsletter “subscription based newsletter” is to be changed into “distribution of the newsletter free of charge” to all interested parties/stakeholders from the region, Europe and globally (companies, investors, public institutions, IFIs, decision makers, NGOs, public in general) in order to expand its reach thus contributing more substantially to the development and promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the Balkans.
