Total OECD production reached 804.8 TWh, a decrease of 2.5% or 20.5 TWh over the same month last year.
• Production from Combustible Fuels reduced by 5.0% in OECD Total compared to May 2012. It reduced in OECD Americas by 6.8% and was followed by decreases in OECD Europe and OECD Asia Oceania by 4.9% and 1.1% respectively.
• Production from Geoth./Wind/Solar/Other grew by 17.6% in OECD Total compared to May 2012. Growth occurred in all regions, driven by 27.4% in OECD Americas, followed by OECD Asia Oceania and OECD Europe with 18.5% and 10.5% respectively.

Total OECD production reached 4 246.8 TWh, a decrease of 0.2% or 8.4 TWh over the same period last year.
• Electricity supply for the five first months of 2013 equalled the supply over the same period last year. The decrease in Combustible Fuels and Nuclear, by 1.8% and 1.2%, respectively was compensated by the growth in Geoth./Wind/Solar/Other and Hydro of 13.2% and 3.2% respectively and by becoming a net importer.
• Share of electricity production from Combustible Fuels reduced from 62% to 61% while the share of Geoth./Wind/Solar/Other grew from 5% to 6%. Shares of Nuclear and Hydro remained constant.
